As a long-time Clash Royale player, I believe websites like RoyalAPI are having a negative impact on the competitive health of the game. The biggest issue is that deck-building is becoming less about creativity, experimentation, and game knowledge, and more about simply copying whatever has the highest win rate on a statistics website. Instead of players discovering strategies themselves or learning through experience, many can instantly find the strongest decks, strongest cards, and most successful combinations with very little effort. This creates a cycle where the same decks appear repeatedly across ranked play. As soon as a deck performs well, thousands of players copy it, making the ladder feel repetitive and less skill-based. Winning often becomes less about innovation and adaptation and more about who is using the current meta deck most efficiently.I also believe it reduces the value of content creators and community discovery. In the past, players learned from watching others, testing ideas, and developing their own strategies. Now, many players skip that process entirely and go straight to statistics sites for answers. While data and analytics can be useful, the current level of access makes the game feel increasingly solved. When everyone knows the exact best cards, best decks, and best win rates, creativity is discouraged and deck diversity suffers.Clash Royale is at its best when players are rewarded for thinking differently, adapting to opponents, and creating unique strategies. I hope the team considers how third-party statistical tools influence the competitive environment and whether there are ways to encourage more experimentation and originality within the game itself.Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve Clash Royale.
