App keeps freezing at launch.

While I am a great fan of Audible as a service, the app itself has been declining in quality, adding crap features I don’t need 90% of the time. The main function of the app is to play audio books and I need this functionality to be available at any time. Immediately after I launch the app. Adding few seconds of unresponsive Bess to the app at launch just so that it can sell me more books is unacceptable!Please, make my playback button work immediately after launch even if I have no or poor network connectivity. Anything on top of playback functionality is an add-on and should never be allowed to block my listening experience!
Love Audible, but...

I have a lot of books and articles on audible, so sometimes it’s difficult to find what I’m looking for and my library feels like a mess. I also use the Books app on my iPhone, which allows me to make catalogues and categorize my books the way I prefer. Wish the Audible app had the same option. Another thing - I have recently changed my phone and even though I restored my new one form a backup, I had to download all the books again onto my device which took days since they basically downloaded only when the app was open. Wish they had been in my backup. Also, I dislike the fact that I cannot do everything in the app and have to go to the website to purchase a new book, return a purchase or manage my account. Wish I could do everything in the same place. I really love a lot of the features too - sleep mode, quality of the books (with a few exceptions). I use Audible across three devices - personal and work phone and ipad and I love that I can just continue where I last paused on another device.
Forced advertisements

As a paying subscriber I find it annoying to get recommendations “based on my listening history” that have nothing to do with my listening history. I understand that Harry Potter publishers have paid for an advertising campaign, but in my listening history nothing hints that Harry Potter would be something that I might be interested in. No need to force feed me to listen to it for half an hour.Today I was forced to cancel my subscription because although Apple is charging me monthly fee, Audible knows nothing about it. Audible customer support gave me a link to Apple’s instructions on how to cancel my subscription. When I told I don’t want to cancel but get the issue fixed, I was told the issue is between Apple and I. As Apple doesn’t have a real customer support, I had nothing else to do than to cancel my subscription for good. What a “great” service.
